Electrocardiograph techinician

Duties and responsibilities: Electrocardiogram technicians generally are employed in hospitals, laboratories or cardiologists' offices. They typically work 40 hours a week, although occasional weekend work might be required as well.


Salary:  For these workers, the median salary in 2012 was $52,070 per year.


Education: Electrocardiography certificate programs usually include between 31 and 45 credit hours and often require students to gain hands-on experience through clinical practice.
